• MACAM Museo Arte Contemporanea all’aperto in Maglione



An interesting walk through the streets of the little village of Masino to discover the open air Modern Art Museum.  A place to admire art with your nose up like looking at  the rainbow or a starry sky.

Each year famous painters and sculptors add some masterpieces which will remain  on the walls of houses, school and churches.

This museum will certainly not  bore your kids.


 

• Torre Canavese


Famous artists coming from Canada and the former Russia have embellished the houses’ walls of Torre Canavese  with their paintings..  The village has become a truly “village of at”. A museum where you do not buy a ticket, no time restrictions and no closing days.


• Gran Paradiso National Park


Intended as a Savoy royal hunting reserve to save the ibex from extinction. It was officially set in 1922 as the first park in Italy

Along the Savoy hunting paths and wild valleys, hikers will discover colourful flowers, wild animals and breath taking sceneries.

We can’t forget the past. Our roots are now treasured in some little local museums.

Ricetto di Candelo


This is the best preserved ricetto in Piemonte. It represents the memory of Candelo’s people who used the ricetto as a place to store their agricultural products  when in peace or as a shelter during wars.

The ricetto of Candelo is listed among the best charming villages in Italy.

The most famous event in the ricetto takes place at the end of May/beginning of June: fascinating set up with flowers decorate every single corner of the old town.
